I am now confused about my gender.

People around me made me confused.

My parent's, my classmate's, my siblings...

Especially the internet and media.

I am supposedly a "girl"

But most people would consider me a"tomboy"

They say I don't wear make-up or like the color pink.

Nor do I strut around with short mini skirts and tight shirts adorning my body

With high heels painfully crushing my feet into an unnatural form.

I actually hate all of these things so they think I'm weird.

I prefer baggy clothes, the color green, and sneakers.

The stereotypical society believes that women are weak.

They say we are fragile and vulnerable.

But I have beaten plenty of guys and most of they flinch when I raise my fist.

My classmates go "Wow, your strong"

But my parent's think I can't protect myself.

They won't even let me stay alone in the house or go over to my friend's.

Even if I spar with my brother in front of them they yell at him saying

"She'll get hurt!! STOP!!"

I've cried plenty of times because of them.

I asked my dad if I could get a haircut and put my hair in front of my chest and he

Replied "Good, it covers you"

He said if I were back in the country I was born in I would be taking care of the

Whole house. Like washing the dishes, cleaning, cooking, ect.

That pisses me off. Why should women do these things?

Maybe I should have been born a "guy".
